1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using ArcQuill ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.
You must be at least 18 years of age to use ArcQuill. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this age requirement. ArcQuill is an adult AI-powered creative platform and is not intended for minors. We do not offer accounts to anyone under 18, regardless of parental or guardian consent.
2. Service Description
ArcQuill is an AI-powered Dungeon Master that lets you create worlds, build characters, and play text-based role-playing adventures. The Service includes:
- AI Dungeon Master functionality for interactive storytelling
- World creation and entity management tools
- Character creation and persistent game state
- A credit-based system that powers AI interactions
ArcQuill is currently in Early Access. This means features, functionality, and content may change, be added, or be removed at any time as we continue to develop the platform. We appreciate your patience and feedback during this period.
AI Disclosure: ArcQuill uses generative AI models to produce game content, narratives, Dungeon Master responses, and other interactive elements. You are interacting with AI systems, not a human. AI behavior, capabilities, and outputs may change as the underlying models are updated.
3. Accounts
To use ArcQuill, you must sign in using Google OAuth. Each person may maintain only one account. You are responsible for:
- All activity that occurs under your account
- Keeping your Google account secure, as it controls access to ArcQuill
- Notifying us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised
You may not share, sell, or transfer your account to another person. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
4. Billing and Credits
Credit System
ArcQuill uses a credit-based system. Credits power your AI interactions, including Dungeon Master responses, world-building, and other AI-driven features. When your credits run out, you will need to purchase more or wait for your subscription to renew.
Subscription Plans
Subscriptions provide a monthly allocation of credits. Subscriptions automatically renew each billing cycle unless you cancel. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or the Stripe customer portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and you will retain access to your remaining credits until then.
One-Time Credit Packs
In addition to subscriptions, you may purchase one-time credit packs. These credits are added to your balance and do not expire under normal circumstances.
Refund Policy
Subscriptions: If you are unsatisfied with your subscription, contact us for a refund. We want you to be happy with the Service.
One-time credit purchases: Individual credit pack purchases are non-refundable once credits have been added to your balance.
To request a subscription refund, email us with "Refund Request" in the subject line:
EU Right of Withdrawal
If you are a consumer based in the EU, EEA, or UK, you have a statutory right to withdraw from a digital purchase within 14 days of the transaction. By starting to use the Service (for example, by consuming credits or generating AI content) during the 14-day withdrawal period, you expressly request immediate performance of the digital service and acknowledge that, to the extent the service has been performed, your right of withdrawal is lost in accordance with Article 16(m) of the EU Consumer Rights Directive (and equivalent national implementations, including §356(5) BGB in Germany). Unused subscriptions and unconsumed credits within the 14-day window remain refundable on request.
Price Changes
We may adjust pricing for subscriptions or credit packs from time to time. We will notify you in advance of any price changes that affect your active subscription. Continued use of a paid plan after a price change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.
All payments are processed through Stripe. By making a purchase, you also agree to Stripe's terms of service.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree to use ArcQuill responsibly. The following activities are strictly prohibited:
- Sexual content involving minors (zero tolerance): Creating, requesting, distributing, or attempting to generate sexual or sexually suggestive content involving minors, in any form, including textual descriptions, fictional or AI-generated characters, roleplay scenarios, or AI-generated imagery. This is a zero-tolerance policy. Violations will result in immediate account termination, preservation of relevant data, and reporting to law enforcement and child safety authorities (including NCMEC and equivalent bodies) under applicable law.
- Real-person harm and deepfakes: Generating sexual, defamatory, threatening, or otherwise harmful content involving real, identifiable persons without their consent. This includes real-person deepfakes, non-consensual intimate imagery, impersonation, and content that could be mistaken for genuine statements or actions of an identifiable individual.
- Creating, requesting, or distributing content that is illegal, abusive, harassing, hateful, or that incites violence or discrimination against individuals or protected groups
- Attempting to bypass, jailbreak, or circumvent content filters, safety systems, model guardrails, or security measures
- Using automated tools, bots, scrapers, or scripts to access the Service
- Attempting to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the AI models, prompts, or source code
- Sharing, selling, or transferring your account credentials
- Interfering with or disrupting the Service, its servers, or its infrastructure
- Using the Service to violate any applicable law or regulation
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, without refund and at our sole discretion. We may also report illegal activity to the appropriate authorities and cooperate with law enforcement requests.
6. Reporting Illegal or Abusive Content
If you encounter content on ArcQuill that you believe is illegal under applicable law (including content involving minors, real-person sexual deepfakes, threats of violence, hate speech, or copyrighted material used without permission), please report it to us at:
kerem@arcquill.com (please put "Abuse Report" in the subject line)
Please include a description of the content, where you encountered it, and any supporting context. We aim to review reports within 48 hours and take appropriate action, which may include content removal, account suspension or termination, and reporting to authorities where required.
For copyright infringement notices specifically, please include the information required under applicable law (such as identification of the copyrighted work, identification of the allegedly infringing material, your contact details, and a good-faith statement) so we can act on the notice.
This reporting channel is provided in line with the EU Digital Services Act and similar notice-and-action obligations.
7. AI-Generated Content
The content you experience in ArcQuill is created collaboratively between you and AI systems. Here is how content ownership works:
- Your inputs: You retain all rights to the content you provide, including character descriptions, world-building details, and your in-game actions and dialogue.
- AI outputs: The narrative, descriptions, and other text generated by the AI are provided to you as part of the Service. ArcQuill does not claim ownership of the game content you create through the platform.
AI-generated content is provided as-is. We do not guarantee the accuracy, quality, consistency, or appropriateness of any AI output. AI responses may contain errors, inconsistencies, or unexpected results. The AI's behavior may also change over time as underlying models are updated.
AI-generated content does not reflect the views or opinions of ArcQuill or its creators.
8. Intellectual Property
The ArcQuill brand, logo, website design, application code, and all related materials are the property of ArcQuill. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without our written permission.
Worlds, characters, and stories you create through ArcQuill belong to you. You are free to use your creations outside of the platform, including in personal or creative projects.
9. Privacy and Data Retention
Your privacy matters to us. Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using ArcQuill, you agree to the practices described in our Privacy Policy.

If you are based in the EU, EEA, or UK, you have rights under the GDPR and equivalent local laws (including access, rectification, erasure, and portability).
